The SAS commercials have undertaken a major transformation over the last few years. Ranging from one extreme to another. I hope McCann will manage to find a more refined way to communicate punctuality, because I’m not a big fan of the text message TVC.

This years Super Bowl Ads were in my perspective not nearly as good as last years. Last year it was a true show down between some of the greatest car manufactures with extremely good TVCs from Chrysler, Audi, VW and BMW. This year BMW didn’t show up for game day, VW turned last years two good ones into a single weird one, Audi had a lame vampire ad and Chrysler, well, Chrysler won this years fight.

My top 3.

#3 Budweiser – Return of the king

Budweiser is unbeatable when it comes to American beers and I really like this ad. It was followed by a less great one, but I guess most americans were drunk by then anyway.

#2 M&M’s Just My Shell

Just plain fun. And it is easier to make it into my top 3 being a FMCG brand, than a car manufacture.

#1 Chrysler

Chrysler probably have greatest pay-off “Imported from Detroit” and even though the Eminem ad from last year was better, this years Clint ad takes the price in my top 3.

I want to mention two other ads who didn’t make it into top 3. One didn’t make it because it was promoting the NFL and another didn’t make it, because it tried to sell me a Cadillac, but left me with desire for a BMW M3.
